Gabrielle K. Nastuck, former executive director of the Latrobe Art Center, has partnered with Kate Cala, executive director of the 501 c3 non-profit organization East Suburban Citizen Advocacy to open “Miss Gabi’s ‘Art is Good’ Studio. Mission: “Our inclusive ‘Art is Good’ Studio is a non-competitive art educational studio where we believe in ART and YOU. ‘Art is Good’ exists to INSPIRE individuals of all abilities to find their voice through Art.”
The studio will facilitate art classes and workshops that are conducted in an inclusive, creative and encouraging environment where everyone is able to share and express themselves freely. “Dream, Create, Inspire. That’s exactly what they are all about,” states Miss Gabi. “Our goal is to create a safe, happy, colorful place to help individuals of ALL abilities connect and find their voice through expressing themselves creatively.”
“We are focused on art education and healing arts. How ART can impact and make a positive difference in your life. From the very beginning, the ‘Art is Good’ Studio has been created with nothing but LOVE. It’s only been two weeks, but I have already fallen in love with my new artful journey, and now I want to share it with the community.” Miss Gabi states.
Miss Gabi is having an Open House on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 12pm – 3pm. She invites you to stop in and see her and her creating and meet her artful assistants and volunteers. This event is free to the community with free kids crafts and light refreshments for all.
